Many nutrition systems and fitness programs are being released by the west to help people lose weight or gain muscles. A lot of research is being made in these fields to help people reach their goals. Many Muslims started to follow these systems without thinking about whether they are good for their bodies or not. Moreover, many Muslims even adopted the ideologies of the creators of these nutrition systems, forgetting that Allah has told us all we need to know about fitness and nutrition. This research is divided into three main sections. The first section discusses the nutrition system that was revealed by Allah. It will discuss halal and non-halal food, the rules of eating, meaning when to eat and when to stop and it will also discuss the nutrition system that is called Laqaimat, this part will be discussed by collecting from the Quran and Sunnah the evidence that guides us to the ruling. Then, we will discuss the most popular nutrition systems, which are vegetarianism, low fat, low carbohydrate, intermittent fasting and intuitive eating, explaining them and showing the benefits and risks of each system. We will later discuss the other systems from an Islamic perspective to see if it is Halal or not to believe in the ideology behind them, also, we will see how beneficial the Islamic system from a scientific point of view. The second part will discuss fitness from an Islamic perspective, unfortunately, many Muslims started taking care of their bodies after the global move towards fitness and they forgot that Islam has encouraged us to be fit fourteen hundred years ago. Evidence from the Quran and Sunnah are collected to show how Islam encourages playing sports and how the prophet was fit and so as the companions. The third part of the research will illustrate some psychological strategies that can help a Muslim adhere to a healthy lifestyle. It will also show that most of these strategies are already part of the Islamic way and were already used by the prophet to help Muslims adhere to Islam. This research will allow a Muslim to know the perfect diet plan that Allah has created for us fourteen hundred years ago, and also, it will allow him to know how Islam has emphasized doing any form of exercise as well as help him adhere to a healthy lifestyle through some psychological strategies.Fitness And Nutrition In Islam, Suggested Psychological Strategies That Can Help Muslims Adhere To A Healthy LifestyleThesis
