Phenomena such as anxiety, academic stress, and feelings of depression are often exacerbated by the students' perceptions of teachers' instructional styles and communication patterns, which tend to be authoritarian, rigid, and lacking in dialogue, ultimately leading to students running away from the boarding school. This issue is further compounded by a declining enrollment rate from 2023 to 2025. This research aims to analyze the correlation between teacher communication styles and the mental health conditions of students, as well as to formulate an ideal educational communication model based on Quranic values through the thematic exegesis (Tafsir Maudu'i) of Surah Luqmān, verses 12 19. Using a qualitative descriptive-interpretive approach, data was collected through in-depth interviews and observations to explore the subjective perceptions of students, along with a literature review. The analysis focuses on the internalization of pedagogical values from Luqmān's advice, encompassing the grounding of faith (aqidah), humility in social interaction, and the instruction to moderate one's tone of voice as an expression of gentleness in teaching. The results demonstrate that applying the principle of communication bil-hikmah (with wisdom), as enshrined in Surah Luqmān, significantly reduces psychological stress among students. A teaching style prioritizing compassion, respect, and patience creates a supportive learning environment and fosters psychological safety. The study concludes that integrating the values of Surah Luqmān into teacher-student interactions serves not only as a means of knowledge transfer, but also as an effective spiritual healing mechanism to cultivate resilient, noble character and reduce instances of student misconduct.Santri’S Mental HealthTeaching StyleTeacher’S CommunicationTafsir Surah LuqmānIslamic Educational PsychologyPersepsi Gaya Pengajaran Dan Komunikasi Guru Terhadap Masalah Kesehatan Mental Santri: Analisis Berbasis Tafsir Surat Luqman Ayat 12-19Thesis
