Abstract
The thesis clears the effects of the Global governance (GG) in Somalia, which none of the studies presents till date. It displays GG’s effects on Somalia, whether they are positive or negative. The researcher collected reliable information of the GG’s effects on Somalia. The data collected about GG’s effects in Somalia because it was needed by every person wanted to know about GG’s effects in Somalia. So, this study is very important. To get real information written was rare, so it was a hard work to get pure and real information. There were more difficulties in collecting of the study’s information and data because there was no similar study to this study. The researcher did two procedures of collecting data of the study. These two procedures were; qualitative procedure and quantitative procedure. The importance was to get real data based on reliability, and this data was secondary data and primary data. The secondary data was former data, so it was not easy selecting the real data of the previous data about GG. Also, the facts of GG’s effects in Somalia selected from different sources. The study discovered the following: Qat was the beginning of the conflicts, when Qat was forbidden from the country, many people supported the rebellion. The majority of the people fought the government of Siyaad Barre for the reason that he (the president) forbade Qat from Somalia. Rule-desire was another issue learned, because Siyaad Barre (the president of Somalia in 1969-1990) desired to be a president for all his life. Siyaad Barre was the first person began the conflicts and the wars of Somalia. Lack of Justice has been the one of the factors, which has destroyed Somalia. Every place of Somalia witnessed lack of Justice. So, Somalis go to the courts of Alshabaab to obtain justice. Conflicts and wars have existed in Somalia for long time beginning from Siyaad Barre’s( the former dictator ) time to Now. These conflicts and wars blocked the development of the country and retarded the progress of the society of Somalia.
