dc.description.abstractThe fundamental roots of religious belief for inhabitants of Bida town, Niger state of the middle belt, northern states of Nigeria consist of polytheism, monotheism, and paganism. However, despite the disparity of different beliefs between its inhabitants and misconceptions between Muslims and Christians, yet they maintain unity and continue to live in a peaceful-coexistence devoid of rancor and animosity. This research significantly creates an intellectual understanding and expresses the rate of the relationship between Muslims and Christians in Bida town (M.C.B). The research aimed to develop cordiality for standard living and identify those similarities in both Muslims and Christians to share commonalities and establish a different mechanism to fostering mutual respect regardless of a different faith and doctrines. The research employs an appropriate methodology which includes the use of public and academic libraries with fieldwork in combination. This work discusses the rate of relationship revolving roundly an exceptional symbolic co-existence and mutual relations between Muslims and Christians of Bida town. This context attests the people for qualitative and perfective cordiality. Thus, many reviews work also ensure certain factors that immensely resurrect a bilateral co-existence between them i.e cultural similarities, social, economic, intellectual, organization factors and constitutional institutions, religious and governmental organizations (R.G.O) are the major factors that interconnect all humanity today. Therefore, the above factors play potential roles that drive a remarkable response from the general public and individuals. As a result, the research discusses many prospects and particularly to the level of conversion from one religion to another. However, such a relationship to date establishes peace, harmony, and tranquility without any crises and misgivings, as such both the Muslims and Christian live graciously in a good atmospheric environment with love and affection all being taught in their various divine books. In conclusion; this research stands as a skill of establishing peace and stability and develops more standardization of cultural and social-religious life, scholarships, legislative institutions, and economic value in connection with the smooth running of the general lives of Muslims-Christians relations in Bida town. (M.C.R.B.T) Finally, this research is highly recommended to attract further investigation of other factors that will influence the Muslims-Christians relationship of the state or any other area or a society which is larger than Bida town.
