dc.description.abstractThis research aims to address the pressing concern of youth deviation from the sunnah, particularly among Muslim high school students at the Islamic School of Irving, Texas, U.S.A. The primary objectives of the study are to identify the causes of this deviation, suggest approaches to mitigate it, and evaluate the integration and effectiveness of sunnah teachings in the school curriculum. The research involves educators and teachers as participants, recognizing their pivotal role in shaping students' adherence to Islamic teachings. The study employs a mixed-methods approach, consisting of questionnaire surveys and interviews to gather insights from educators. Findings indicate significant factors contributing to the deviation, including the influence of mass media and Islamophobia. To counteract this trend, educators are encouraged to engage parents, promote online Islamic resources, cultivate tolerance, and foster religious unity among students. Additionally, historical analysis reveals that deviation from the sunnah is not a new phenomenon, highlighting the timeless relevance of addressing this issue. Ultimately, the study underscores the importance of unity in upholding the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (ï·º) and offers practical recommendations for educators to combat youth deviation from Islamic values.
