Entrepreneurship education is recognized as a key determinant of entrepreneurial development in developing countries. In Nigeria, National Board of Technical Education (NBTE) in 2006 mandated the teaching of entrepreneurship education courses to all Polytechnics. The study investigates entrepreneurship education among students of entrepreneurship determinants of Federal Polytechnic Bauchi. Currently, there are limited empirical studies focusing on the intention of students in Nigerian Polytechnics. The study employs the Theory of Planned Behaviour (TPB) to determine the factors that influence entrepreneurial intention of the students. The results show that personal attitude is the most significant predictor of entrepreneurial intention. In addition, perceived behavioural control also influences intention, while subjective norm has less influence compared to other factors. The implication of this study is that any policy input in a related direction must pay attention to students’ attitude towards entrepreneurship and also consider making policies that will attract students toward self-reliant initiatives.
