Item Pengalaman Ibu Menjalani Homeschooling dalam Perspektif Psikologi Islam: Studi Ipa(2026-09-26) Sari, Windy AnitaThis study aims to explore and understand how Muslim mothers make meaning of their experiences of homeschooling from the perspective of Islamic Psychology. It focuses on the emotional and spiritual experiences of mothers, how they make sense of these experiences, and how homeschooling is understood as a responsibility (amanah) and an act of worship to Allah. This study used a qualitative approach with Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA) to understand the participants' personal experiences. The participants were four Muslim mothers who were directly involved in caring for and educating their elementary school-aged homeschooled children. Data were collected through semi-structured, in-depth interviews and analyzed using the IPA process, starting from initial notes to the development of themes across all participants. The findings show that Muslim mothers' experiences of homeschooling are complex and connected. The decision to choose homeschooling was based on the unique needs of the child, family values, and deep reflection on the fitrah (natural disposition) of education. In practice, homeschooling was understood as a holistic educational process that focuses not only on academic achievement but also on character development and learning through everyday life. The homeschooling experience also led to personal growth. Mothers learned to accept their own limitations, improve their abilities, and continue developing themselves while carrying out their roles. This process took place within supportive family relationships, where family members worked together, communicated openly, and shared common values. Throughout this experience, spirituality became the main foundation. Mothers viewed homeschooling as fulfilling an amanah from Allah, recognized their own limitations, and relied on Allah throughout the parenting process. This study concludes that, for Muslim mothers, homeschooling is not only an educational choice but also a spiritual journey and a process of personal growth in carrying out their responsibilities before Allah. Homeschooling provides an opportunity for tazkiyat al-nafs (purification of the soul) and the practice of ubudiyah (servitude and devotion to Allah) in everyday family life.Item Peran Religiusitas Islami sebagai Moderator dalam Hubungan Antara Kontrol Diri dan Kepatuhan Tata Tertib Sekolah pada Siswa(2026-09-26) SyifaunnadiaThis study aimed to examine the relationship between self-control and compliance with school regulations and to investigate whether Islamic religiosity moderates this relationship. Compliance with school regulations is an important indicator of students' character development. However, various forms of violations of school regulations are still found, indicating that students' self-control and the internalization of religious values have not yet developed optimally. Therefore, this study sought to explain the relationship between self-control and compliance with school regulations and to examine whether Islamic religiosity strengthens this relationship. This study employed a quantitative approach using a correlational research design. The participants consisted of 176 students of Madrasah Tsanawiyah Al-Falak, Bogor City, selected through a convenience sampling technique. The research instruments included the Self-Control Scale developed based on the dimensions proposed by Tangney, Baumeister, and Boone (2004), the School Rules Compliance Scale developed based on Kelman's (1958) theory of compliance, and the Islamic Religiosity Scale based on the dimensions proposed by Ancok and Suroso (2011). All research instruments met the required standards of validity and reliability. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, regression assumption tests, and Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) with IBM SPSS Statistics version 29 and Hayes' PROCESS Macro version 4.2. The results revealed a significant positive relationship between self-control and compliance with school regulations (β = 0.4409; t = 6.2811; p < .001). In addition, Islamic religiosity showed a significant positive relationship with compliance with school regulations (β = 0.8037; t = 9.1902; p < .001). The moderation analysis indicated that Islamic religiosity significantly moderated the relationship between self control and compliance with school regulations (β = 0.0242; ΔR² = 0.0109; F = 4.1553; p = .0430). These findings suggest that the higher the students' level of Islamic religiosity, the stronger the relationship between self-control and compliance with school regulations. The proposed model explained 54.78% of the variance in compliance with school regulations (R² = 0.5478). The findings provide theoretical implications by demonstrating that Islamic religiosity is not only associated with compliance with school regulations but also functions as a moderating variable that strengthens the relationship between self control and compliance with school regulations. From the perspective of Islamic Psychology, these findings suggest that the development of self-control should be integrated with the enhancement of Islamic religiosity through strengthening faith, moral character, and religious practices, so that compliance with school regulations develops as an expression of moral and spiritual awareness rather than mere obedience to formal rules.Item Self-Compassion sebagai Mediator Antara Spiritual Struggles dan Psychological Well-Being pada Muslim Dewasa(2026-09-26) Ghufron, Salma NuhaSpiritual struggle defined as tension, conflict, or distress regarding matters deemed sacred by an individual is a common experience among religious populations, including adult Muslims in Indonesia. With a recorded Muslim population of 245.97 million (87.08% of the total population), Indonesia has the largest Muslim population in the world. While various longitudinal and cross sectional studies consistently link spiritual struggle to poor psychological adjustment, the psychological mechanisms explaining this relationship have primarily been examined in Western, predominantly Christian samples, leaving the experiences of Muslim-majority populations underrepresented. Self compassion, the tendency to treat oneself kindly when facing suffering or failure has proven to be a strong predictor of psychological well-being; however, it has rarely been tested as a mediator linking spiritual struggle to psychological well being, particularly from an Islamic psychology perspective. Therefore, this study aims to examine the mediating role of self-compassion in the relationship between spiritual struggle and psychological well-being among adult Muslims in Indonesia. A quantitative approach with a non-experimental correlational design was employed. The sample consisted of 290 Indonesian Muslim adults aged 18 40, recruited via an online survey using convenience sampling. Data analysis was conducted using linear regression and Hayes’ PROCESS Macro (Model 4) with a bootstrapping method (5,000 resamples) to test the direct relationships and the proposed mediation model. The results indicate that spiritual struggle has a significant negative effect on both psychological well-being and self-compassion. Self-compassion, in turn, has a significant positive effect on psychological well being, even after controlling for spiritual struggle and significantly mediates the relationship between the two (partial mediation, with a mediation proportion of 78.8%). These findings suggest that self-compassion serves as a key psychological mechanism explaining the process by which spiritual struggle diminishes psychological well-being, rather than the impact being merely a direct, isolated effect independent of this internal process. This study extends the study of self compassion into the framework of Islamic psychology while providing an xxiii empirical foundation for the development of self-compassion-based Islamic counseling interventions for Muslim adults experiencing spiritual struggles.Item Peran Islamic Religious Coping terhadap Academic Hardiness Dimediasi oleh Stres Akademik pada Mahasiswa(2026-10-26) Ristania, RidhaThis research is motivated by the high academic pressure faced by final-year students, including obstacles in completing final projects, course loads, field internships, and expectations for optimal achievement. These conditions can affect students' ability to maintain academic hardiness. In facing academic pressure, students require adaptive coping strategies, one of which is Islamic religious coping This study aims to analyze the role of of Islamic religious coping in strengthening students' academic hardiness through the mediation of the academic stress variable. A quantitative approach was applied using a mediated regression analysis design. Using a convenience sampling technique, a sample of 203 active Muslim students in semesters 6–8, within the developmental age range of 18–25 years, was obtained. Data were collected through an online Likert-scale questionnaire. The interaction model positioned Islamic religious coping as the independent variable, academic stress as the mediating variable (mediator), and academic hardiness as the dependent variable. Data computation utilized SPSS software equipped with Andrew F. Hayes' PROCESS Macro Model 4 installation using a bootstrapping procedure The results showed that Islamic religious coping had a significant negative role in academic stress (β = -0.35; p < 0.001), academic stress had a significant negative role in academic hardiness (β = -0.32; p < 0.001), and Islamic religious coping had a significant positive role in academic hardiness (β = 0.45; p < 0.001). Furthermore, academic stress was found to partially mediate the role of Islamic religious coping on academic hardiness (indirect effect = 0.11; BootLLCI = 0.06; BootULCI = 0.18). These findings indicate that the higher the Islamic religious coping, the lower the academic stress and the higher the academic hardiness among students. This study provides an empirical contribution to the development of educational psychology and Islamic psychology, and serves as a basis for designing interventions grounded in Islamic values to enhance students' academic hardiness.Item Studi Fenomenologi tentang Makna Ketaqwaan dalam Membangun Kepuasan Pernikahan pada Pasangan yang Belum Memiliki Anak(2026-08-26) Adaninggar, ReswariA successful marriage is primarily defined by the presence of children in Indonesia's pronatalist culture. As a result, Muslim married couples who have been childless for over five years frequently face social, psychological, and spiritual pressures that might lower their happiness with their union. Despite these difficulties, some couples are able to maintain positive and fulfilling marriage ties. The goal of this research was to examine the meaning of taqwa (God-consciousness) in raising marital happiness among Muslim married couples who had been together for more than five years and did not have children.A descriptive phenomenological design was utilized in this qualitative study.Based on predetermined inclusion criteria, participants were chosen using purposive sampling. Through semi-structured in-depth interviews, member checking, source triangulation with important others, and an audit trail, data were gathered to guarantee the study's trustworthiness, dependability, and confirmability. Descriptive phenomenological methods such as epoche (bracketing), horizontalization, the formulation of meaning units, thematic clustering, textural description, structural description, and the synthesis of the essence of the phenomenon were used to analyze the data.According to the findings, taqwa was seen as a life orientation in which childlessness was viewed as part of Allah's divine decree, which had both purpose and wisdom. Forgiveness, empathetic communication, equitable role sharing, patience, thankfulness, trust in Allah (tawakkul), and a shared commitment to considering marriage as an act of worship were all examples of taqwa. The core of the occurrence showed how taqwa converted the social stresses related to childlessness into a process of spiritual development that increased marital contentment through emotional and spiritual intimacy, mutual commitment, acceptance of Allah's divine decree, and the shared interpretation of married life.Item Pengaruh Self-Reliance Dan Parental Involvement Terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa Sd Negeri Di Wilayah Perbatasan Nunukan(2026-09-01) ArmilawatiThis study examined the effects of self-reliance and parental involvement on the learning outcomes of public elementary school students in the Nunukan border area. A quantitative correlational approach was used with 93 second-grade students of SD Negeri 003 Kecamatan Nunukan as the units of analysis. Self-reliance data were collected through a student questionnaire, parental involvement data through a parent or guardian questionnaire, and learning outcomes from official school academic records. Both instruments demonstrated very high reliability, with Cronbach’s alpha coefficients of 0.986 for self-reliance and 0.989 for parental involvement. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The findings showed that self-reliance did not have a statistically significant partial effect on learning outcomes, whereas parental involvement had a positive and significant effect. Together, self-reliance and parental involvement significantly predicted learning outcomes. The model explained 12.6% of the variance in learning outcomes, with parental involvement showing a stronger relative contribution than self-reliance. These findings underscore the importance of parental involvement and family-school partnerships while supporting the gradual development of students’ independence in accordance with their developmental stage.Item Dari Hampa Menjadi Bermakna: Studi Fenomenologi Existential Emptiness Dan Meaning In Life Pada Ibu Rumah Tangga Muslimah(2026-08-24) Andriyani, AvieNot all women find meaning in married life. Some instead experience existential emptiness, which gives rise to a renewed search for meaning in life. This study aims to describe the experiences of existential emptiness and meaning in life among Muslim housewives. Although this phenomenon has been widely discussed in existential psychology, studies describing the subjective experiences of existential emptiness and meaning in life among Muslim housewives remain limited. This study employed a qualitative approach involving four Muslim housewives as participants selected through convenience sampling. Data were collected through semi structured in-depth interviews, transcribed verbatim, and analyzed using a descriptive phenomenological approach to generate themes representing the participants' lived experiences. The findings revealed four major themes: the transition to the role of a housewife, existential emptiness, meaning in life, and religious coping. Experiences of existential emptiness were characterized by feelings of emptiness, loss of life direction, identity confusion, loneliness, boredom, and discrepancies between personal expectations and the realities of life. These experiences became points of reflection in the participants' process of rediscovering meaning in life through embracing their roles as wives and mothers, fostering family relationships, engaging in self-development, contributing to others, and strengthening their spiritual closeness to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala. Various forms of religious coping also became an integral part of the participants' process of confronting existential emptiness and reconstructing the meaning of their lives. This study demonstrates that existential emptiness is part of the lived experiences of Muslim housewives and may serve as a point of reflection in the process of discovering meaning in life. The findings enrich the field of Islamic psychology by advancing the understanding of existential emptiness and meaning in life among muslim housewives.Item Emotional Vulnerability Pada Volunteer Komunitas Tarbiyatul Ummah (Kayama): Analisis Peran Regulasi Emosi Modern Dan Pendekatan Spiritual Islami(2026-08-27) Afiatusshalihah, HetiThis study explores the lived experience structures of emotional vulnerability among female volunteers in the Tarbiyatul Ummah Community (KAYAMA). The core problem of this research is rooted in the high psychological burden induced by multiple role conflicts (domestic, professional, and dawah/da'wah), which trigger cognitive decompensation, neurotic anxiety, and the risk of mental burnout. The failure of conventional emotion regulation strategies, such as expressive suppression, frequently backfires, thereby exacerbating the volunteers' somatic burden. Consequently, this study aims to unveil the essence of the participants' experiences in managing this vulnerability through an analysis of the integrative roles of modern emotion regulation and Islamic spiritual approaches. A qualitative method utilizing Amedeo Giorgi’s Descriptive Phenomenological approach was employed. The participants consisted of four active female volunteers with a minimum of one year of service. Data were gathered through non-directive in-depth interviews and field notes, and subsequently analyzed through four systematic stages: apprehending the global sense of the text, establishing meaning units, transforming into psychological language, and synthesizing the essential structure. Bracketing (epoche) procedures were stringently implemented to safeguard the originality of the findings from the researcher's theoretical biases. The findings summarize four primary thematic clusters: (1) dual spatial distress, wherein the domestic domain triggers ego-depletion while the community functions as a restorative inner sanctuary; (2) somato-psychic reactivity as a physical manifestation of role strain; (3) cognitive-regulative transformation, where modern emotion management blends with Islamic spiritual mechanisms through the cultivation of "70 excuses" (70 udzur), muhasabah (introspection) of intent, and the logic of "hereafter accounting"; and (4) the attainment of theocentric ego-death and radical agency transposition that restores existential vitality into inner tranquility (thuma'ninah). This study concludes that the Islamic spiritual approach operates as an active, effective cognitive-spiritual emotion regulation strategy in fostering theocentric resilience among humanitarian workers.Item Mental Agility Pemimpin Di Era BANI (Brittle, Anxious, Nonlinear, Incomprehensible) : Tinjauan Psikologi Islam(2026-09-14) Khrisna, Luh Nyoman Lucy Indra WulanThe BANI (Brittle, Anxious, Non-Linear, Incomprehensible) era is characterized by the phenomenon of many individuals experiencing anxiety due to ongoing uncertainty and fragile and ambiguous systems that exceed human ability to explain logically, making the impacts difficult to predict. This makes it difficult for leaders to make appropriate decisions and take appropriate actions, necessitating a leader with mental agility to deal with the situation. Supporting factors such as cognitive and emotional flexibility, which are key dimensions of mental agility, require effective stress management, enabling a leader to maintain emotional balance while remaining flexible in the face of pressure. Spiritual and religious beliefs provide a strong foundation for a leader to be resilient and remain optimistic, think positively, and actively seek solutions. By relying on Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala for every event, they remain calm amidst uncertainty, adapt easily, think flexibly, and find solutions. The purpose of this research is to provide an overview of the spiritual and religious functions (tawhid) and the influence of a leader’s talent in building mental agility in the BANI era, so that they are not only competent and intellectually intelligent (cognitive agility) and emotionally (mental resilience) but also be able to lead with their heart according to human nature who have full awareness as the caliph and servant of Allah. The qualitative phenomenological method was used in this research to examine the components that influence a leader's mental agility in dealing with the various consequences of the BANI era. Primary data was collected through in-depth interviews and behavioral event interviews to explore the deep meaning of subjective experiences from the participants, then the interview results were analyzed with interpretive analysis through interview data reduction to find the main ideas of the primary data and then given meaning. The results of the study illustrate how the influence of religious spirituality and leadership talent of the participants is quite significant even though not all aspects of religious spirituality and leadership talent were found, as some dimensions of mental agility have not been fulfilled in the subjects.Item Pengaruh Kesadaran Penuh Berbasis Religiusitas dan Keterikatan Kerja terhadap Kinerja Guru pada SDIT Wildan Mamuju(2026-09-05) MaharaniThis study aimed to analyze the effect of religious mindfulness and work engagement on teacher performance at Sekolah Dasar Islam Terpadu (SDIT) Wildan, Mamuju Regency, West Sulawesi. A quantitative explanatory design with a cross-sectional survey was employed, involving the entire population of 70 active teachers (total sampling). Religious mindfulness was measured using the FFMQ-39, work engagement using the UWES-9, and teacher performance using a standardized performance scale; data were collected through an online questionnaire and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM), complemented by multiple regression analysis for the simultaneous test. The measurement model met the established criteria for convergent validity, discriminant validity, and reliability. Descriptive results showed that religious mindfulness, work engagement, and teacher performance were predominantly at a moderate level. Partial hypothesis testing showed that religious mindfulness had no significant effect on teacher performance (β = 0.158; t = 1.465; p = 0.143), while work engagement had a significant positive effect on teacher performance (β = 0.498; t = 5.642; p = 0.000). Simultaneous testing showed that religious mindfulness and work engagement together had a significant effect on teacher performance (F = 11.839; p = 0.000), explaining 31.0% of its variance (R² = 0.310).Item Pengaruh Fungsi Keluarga dan Iklim Kelas terhadap Motivasi Belajar pada Siswa Kelas Viii di Smpp Nurul Hikmah Al-Hakim Jonggol Jawa Barat(2026-08-31) Lazuardi, MegaThis study aims to determine whether there is a significant relationship between family functioning and classroom climate on learning motivation amongst Year 8 pupils at SMPP Nurul Hikmah Al-Hakim. The study employed a correlational research design. The population for this study consisted of Year 8 pupils at SMPP Nurul Hikmah Al-Hakim in Jonggol, West Java. A total of 86 pupils were selected as respondents using cluster random sampling. The data collection technique used in this study was a questionnaire as the primary data source. This study employed a quantitative approach with a correlational (ex post facto) design. The research variables comprised family functioning as the first independent variable (X1), classroom climate as the second independent variable (X2), and learning motivation as the dependent variable (Y). The data analysis techniques used were descriptive analysis and product-moment correlation analysis. The data were analysed using multiple linear regression to determine the partial and simultaneous effects between the variables. In addition, an F-test was conducted to examine the combined effect of the independent variables on the dependent variable, and a t test was used to determine the partial effect of each variable. Based on the results of the analysis, family function had no significant effect on learning motivation, whilst classroom climate had a positive and significant effect on learning motivation. Simultaneously, Family Function and Classroom Climate have a significant effect on Learning Motivation. An R value of 0.504 indicates a positive correlation of moderate strength, whilst an R-squared value of 0.254 indicates that the two independent variables account for 25.4 per cent of the variation in learning motivation. Future researchers are advised to include other variables. It is also recommended that the next studies focus more on early adolescents because during this developmental stage, individuals experience various multidimensional changes, including physical, cognitive, emotional, social, moral, and psychological aspects.Item Studi Fenomenologi terhadap Religious Identity Muslim Sunni-Asy’Ariyah pada Jamaah Al-Husam(2026-09-12) Rm, Muhammad Farid Salman AlfarisiThis research explores the dynamics of religious identity among Sunni-Asharites individuals of Jamaah al-Husam, West Sumatra. This study was motivated by tensions between Muslim theological groups that resulted in intellectual debates and even physical expulsion. Furthermore, there is a lack of social psychology and psychology of religion literature that discusses Muslims from a theological perspective. Using an Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA) approach, this study employed semi structured interviews with three informants. Observation was also used to capture religious identity within a group context. The research data were analyzed through two main theoretical perspectives, social identity and meaning making. The idiographic analysis showed that the three informants traversed different paths of identity construction and legitimation: genealogical (sanad), individual-intellectual journey, and socio-historical accumulation, which culminated in the same social categorization. The group analysis identified six themes: inner tranquility, different basis of legitimacy within the same social categorization, tawasuth as a basic norm, behavioral-based perspective towards out-group threats, theological identity dissemination, and crisis as a path to full commitment. This research contributes to the literature on social psychology and psychology of religion through two proposed concepts, the diversity of knowledge pathways within religious identity and tawasuth as a regulatory norm. The findings are expected to enrich perspectives, especially in understanding the dynamics between Muslim groups.Item Eksplorasi Strategi Regulasi Emosi Berbasis Integrasi Islam pada Guru Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini di Sekolah Kb Ahsanu ‘Amala Sidoarjo(2026-09-01) Istinganah, NurainiEarly Childhood Education (ECE) teachers face various emotional demands during the learning process, requiring emotion regulation skills to maintain the quality of interactions with their students. In Islamic educational institutions, emotion regulation is influenced by both psychological mechanisms and Islamic values that serve as the foundation of the teaching profession. This study aims to explore Islamic integration based emotion regulation strategies among ECE teachers at KB Ahsanu 'Amala Sidoarjo by describing their implementation and exploring teachers' experiences and interpretations when handling emotional dynamics in teaching practices. The conceptual framework synthesizes Gross's Process Model of Emotion Regulation with the Islamic perspective derived from the Qur'an, Hadith, and scholars, particularly Ibn Qayyim al-Jawziyyah. Using a descriptive qualitative approach with Braun and Clarke's thematic analysis, this study employed a total sampling of seven educational personnel at KB Ahsanu 'Amala Sidoarjo, comprising five classroom teachers, a school principal, and an administrative staff member who also acted as a substitute teacher. Data collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation were analyzed thematically. Data trustworthiness was ensured through methodological triangulation, member checking, and peer review. Findings indicate that teachers regulated their emotions by taking pauses, managing physical conditions, understanding students' perspectives, and separating personal from professional issues. These strategies are integrated with Islamic values, namely husnuẓan, empathy, ṣabr, kaẓmu al-ghayẓ, dhikr, du'a, muhasabah, and tawakkul, as well as interpreting the profession as an amanah and ibadah. Support from family, colleagues, and parents also facilitated teachers' emotion regulation. This study demonstrates that Islamic integration-based emotion regulation combines psychological, moral, and spiritual dimensions, thereby shaping reflective emotion management, professional meaningfulness, and the strengthening of noble character in ECE teachers' professional practices.
