Abstract
Corruption plays a major part in dismantling the Arabic education system in The Gambia. It all starts with the deduction of teacher’s salaries as the root cause and tampering with evidence. These involve denying teachers monthly payment slips, no agreement sign or contract at the beginning of their appointment. Social security has never been paid by Amanah, schools principals are mainly the accountant, registrar, and master in a small school, embezzlement of private funds, bribes, and forgery are main done by principals of the schools. The research, therefore, examined corruption in Arabic schools in The Gambia and its consequences.
