Abstract

The Quranic verbal similarity is a rich field for the grammatical and rhetorical studies that requires deep research to serve the book of Allah (Azza Wa Jall) in order to aid the memorizers of this holy book in their hearts and minds. The aim of this research is its importance since there are many similar words and statements in the holy Quran full of the benefits to match the speech and the status eloquently to concise meaning; there is lack in research especially combining the grammatical and rhetorical studies in the combination of similar phrases in Surat Al-Baqarah and Surat Ali-‘Imran; many studies that have conducted on Surat Al-Baqarah and Ali-‘Imran did not cover all the similarities with the rest of the Quran’s Surahs; however، they have presented the rhetorical analysis for some examples. This research has three main goals: The verbal similarity in Surat Al-Baqarah and Surat Ali-‘Imran will be collected according to the book of “Revealing the meanings in similarity from repeated words” for Ibn-Jama’a، Badru-eddeen (died in 733 H)، and listing all the verses and their similarities. Presenting the similar verse as a hypothetical problem and answering it. The answer will involve five elements: The quoting The language analysis The meaning and contemplation Conducting a grammatical study for the two Surahs’ Al-Bakarah and Ali-‘Imran and their similarities according to “The Meanings of Qur’an and its Parsing” by Az-Zajjaj، Abi Ishaq (died 311 H)، and Conducting a rhetorical study for the two Surahs’ Al-Bakarah and Ali-‘Imran and their similarities according to “Interpretation of the scout” By Al-Zamakhshari (died 538 H).
